My Story
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
What started as a late-night idea (involving one too many candles and an obsession with estate-sale crystal) quickly turned into something much more meaningful: a way to bring a little more beauty, intention, and magic into the everyday.
I create hand-poured soy candles in up-cycled high-end crystal glassware, the kind of pieces that deserve a second life. Each is made with care, curiosity, and a tiny spark of ritual. Because lighting a candle should feel special.
The name Biddy’s Flame is deeply personal. “Biddy” is an old Irish nickname for Bridget — my name and also that of Saint Brigid, the patroness of poets, smiths, and keepers of the sacred flame. I like to think I’m carrying a little of her light forward in every candle I pour.
